Online:

Video & Audio conferencing is available at selected meeting locations across campus. To request the service, please visit the portal at https://portal.kaust.edu.sa
and choose “Self Service»Audio Visual Services»Conference Room Booking, and provide the requested details.

Once booked, our staff can either provide you with the training to conduct a session yourself, or be available during larger sessions to ensure connectivity and avoid any disruption.

Please note: To ensure that staff will be available to support your video/audio session:
  • Sessions held during normal work hours require 24 hours notice.
  • Sessions held outside of normal business hours require that you submit the service request on the previous working day and provide at least 24 hour notice so we can ensure staff will be available.

Accessibility:

Video & Audioconferencing must be clearly mentioned when booking a meeting room through the room booking system.
To request any technical support for the testing session or for the real video conference session, please contact the IT Service Desk at ithelpdesk@kaust.edu.sa or Call 910.

Running a testing session prior to the actual video conference session is advisable.

KAUST uses an IP-based videoconference system. Therefore, please ensure you have the other party’s PUBLIC IP address prior to the testing session. (Please note that advance booking is required).
